Business Trip to Sarawak & Sabah

Last week, went for a business trip to Kuching, Sarawak on 5th Dec 2011 and later to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
Had a meeting scheduled on 6th Dec 2011 in Simpang Tiga, Kuching, Sarawak. Stayed in Dormani Hotel (http://www.dormanihotel.com/) in Kuching because of ease to get Halal & Good meals. The hotel rate is okay. RM115 for a 2 single bed room. Around 15-20 minutes walk to Kuching Waterfront or even to the ever famous Satok Market (if you want to buy Terubuk Masin).
Later that 6th Dec night, fly off to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Arrived almost 11 p.m. and checked-in in Marina Court (http://www.marinacourt-sabah.com/). RM464 per night for a 3 bed-room apartment. Fully furnished with kitchen utensils. Regretfully, no ASTRO. 15 minutes walk to the Handicraft Market (a.k.a Philippine Market). Bought some gifts for my daughter. Bought also some dried prawns, anchovies and cuttlefish. Found a stall selling fresh seaweed. Bought two for RM2.
What a great way to end 2011. Well, next year on-wards, don't know if can travel there again.
